Excellent green chili cheeseburgers. Good chicken strips for the kids. They have good sweet potatoes fries. We come here every week. Occasionally we have some of the other fare and everything has always been really good. Eclectic atmosphere.
The atmosphere is laid back, and the service is great. It's not the place to come if you're in a hurry, so enjoy the music. I had some nicely prepared Eggs Benedict on toast made from scratch. The Apple and Ginger Tart was delicious and not too sweet.
Absolutely no sense of urgency with the wait staff. There were maybe 25 other patrons, 10 of whom were outside with us. I would estimate that to be half capacity, so not a busy night. Every table outside had complaints with the service. I can only assume the ones inside weren't better. Fifteen minutes to get our first beers, another twenty for the food, 6-8 more for two more beers. We were served before another table that was clearly there ahead of us. We actually offered them some of our food. The beer came in glasses and the food was on plates. Well, unless you wanted a flight of beers, in which case that was inexplicably served in small plastic salad dressing cups. But other than that, totally normal. The food was very good. That's all I got. The servers were very nice, but I assume it was everyone's first night working except the cook.
Despite being limited, the beer selection was good. I was very satisfied with what they had on tap. The waitress was friendly, and did a good job of bringing our food, and drinks out, but not being too present, and disrupting conversation. We sat outside in the patio area. The view was basically a dirt parking lot, with other buildings surrounding it, but the patio itself was nice, and big. I didn't know what to expect as far as food went, but I was surprised by the quality. I ordered a green chile cheese burger, and was very impressed with it. The green chile was fantastic, the burger was done right. It was also huge, and came with a heaping pile of fries (I got a mix of sweet potato, and regular) that were well made as well. It was an all around good bar burger, and I didn't feel as if I over payed. If this place wasn't so out of the way for me, I'd go more often.
Burger was delicious and everything was moderately priced. The dessert was store bought though and a bit disappointing. Good beer selection also at a decent price. Service was a little slow, but the waitress was nice enough.
