Absolutely loved my week here! My mom & I stayed in the Roadrunner room, very comfortable. Denise & Keith were very accommodating to make me vegetarian breakfasts. Great scenery on the back patio to watch sunrise & sunsets. We did daytrips around NM, checking out a lot of the sights.
My husband and I recently stayed 3 nights at the Chocolate Turtle Bed and Breakfast. It was our first experience at a B&B, and it was wonderful. Keith and Denise did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Their home is beautifully appointed and has a wonderful outdoor space to enjoy a morning cup of tea, or a glass of wine in the evening. The best meals we had during our entire visit in New Mexico were the breakfast's that Keith prepared and Denise sets a beautiful table. I was so excited to meet their well behaved standard poodle Zoro and their bird Rico. I highly recommend the Chocolate Turtle!
The owners are friendly but not always looking over your shoulder. The whole place is just very relaxing. We loved sitting on the backyard patio and watching cottontails, hummingbirds, and even a roadrunner. Highly recommended!
Great place to stay! Keith and Denise were awesome host's. The breakfast was always a good way to start the day, after coffee, and watching the sun rise over the Sandia Mountains!
My daughter and I recently traveled for a 2 night mini vacation and had the pleasure of staying at the amazing chocolate turtle! The pictures you see don't do justice for the amazingly beautiful property! The hospitality is more then you could ever ask for, amazing breakfast, great ideas for what to do, and so welcoming and inviting. If your traveling to the area you have to stay with these fine folks!
